The image of the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League in describing how Highlanders FC and Dynamos have started their campaign of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League in Zimbabwean football

Week 24 saw a round of exhilarating fixtures and results. Dynamos continued to flaunt their invincibility, Bosso lost, Ngezi lost, Chicken Inn continued its winning streak.

Chicken Inn extended their winning streak by beating How Mine 2-1. Misery seems to be the prevailing norm for How Mine fans, with players being subjected to late salary and bonus payments, a factor many analysts have said it is eroding their motivation. ZPC Kariba were defeated by Bulawayo City 3-2. Black Rhinos, a team that had not known anything besides defeat for seven games drew 1-1 against Triangle.

Yadah beat Bantu Rovers 3-1 while Harare City beat Tsholotsho 2-1.

Sunday saw the fierce Harare derby being played and Dynamos emerged triumphant by beating Caps United 2-0 at the National Sports Stadium. Christian Eupopa scored twice for Dynamos.

Highlanders FC have had their worst nightmares confirmed after falling to a fourth consecutive defeat. They were beaten 1-0 by Chapungu. Bosso seem a dilapidated outfit. FC Platinum beat Hwange 1-0 and the big shock saw Ngezi Platinum losing 1-0 to Shabanie Mine.

Chicken Inn is at the top of the table with 51 points, followed by Dynamos and FC Platinum as they have 48 points each. In fourth place is Ngezi Platinum with 46 points followed by ZPC Kariba with 38 points.

At the bottom we have Hwange FC, Tsholotsho FC and Bantu Rovers.
