In my years on this earth, the notion of money has always been reverberated throughout the years and this can be summed up the proverbial expression “Money makes the world go round.” Kikky Badass sums up this notion in her latest offering “Boyz Dzetonaz” with some help from the dread-locked hustler himself- Jnr Brown, Marcus Mafia and Shuver off of her upcoming album, The Queen of The South.

This trap-vibe filled rocket of a track is a tribute to the movers and shakers of the world, the ballers and shot-callers of the country. With a bangin’ beat, a catchy hook and unstoppable bars, this song is definitely one to keep around in your playlist (on repeat too.) Notable references include Tazvi “Chief J” Mhaka, Wicknell Chivhayo, Phil Chiyangwa and Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure all important players in the social circles.

The song’s laced with a number of jaw dropping punch-lines from the various artists. For example, Kikky raps:

“Without a remote, but I’m in control

VIP with Chief J, poppin’ bottles

I’m never in the gym, but I always flex

Line these rappers up and ask ‘em who’s next?”

If the rest of Kikky’s album is anywhere near this ball of fire, then Zim Hip Hop is undoubtedly in for a treat.
