Species College’s Fashion and Design student Fikile Ncube is about to play a massive role in the country’s fashion industry.

Fikile launched his brand in 2018, the clothing line was named Empress Primy as a dedication to her mother.Primrose hence the name Primy.
Empress Primy Clothing Line’s current main agenda is to specialise in ladies wear and in future the brand is looking forward to venture into other sectors such as bridal and swim wear for both male and female.
The brand founder Fikile is currently seeking a model who will be the brand’s ambassador.
There are 11 models who have made it into the finalist these are: Faith Dube, Jemima, Nozipho, Celine Selumba, Mellisa Moyo, Tafadzwa Moyo, Sithembiso Muchena, Gugulethu Bhebhe, Tamina Nerupfunde, Rita Nyathi and Lucy Mhembere.
Fikile Ncube said the 11 models were selected by judges who have vast information and history in the modelling and fashion industry.
The judges were Miss Tourism Bulawayo,Miss Anelisiwe Ndebele; Modelling teacher Miss Joanne Peters and the mentor and special assistant to the CEO of URL Miss S Taylor.
The final day to announce the brand ambassador of the Empress Clothing line will be on the 16th of March and the event will be held at the Hope Center in Bulawayo.
Fikile stated out that the ambassador that they are searching for is someone who is intelligent and beautiful .
She further said that during the show models are going to catwalk while wearing some of her collections.
“During the show models are going to catwalk across the ramp while wearing both old and new Empress Primy’s old and new collection,” she informed.
The winner is expected to walk away with photoshoot packages, and a working contract permit with the brand which will last for a year and other prizes.
On the other hand Welsh the stylist is expected to entertain the audience through his live music performance.
